General concepts

Suicidator City Generator is made of three distinct generators:

all of them working together.
Each has a dedicated set of options, organized in tabs that you can see at the top of the graphical user interface (GUI). Each generator can be controlled via input parameters.

The texture generator outputs your building textures. The street generator outputs your street maps. Then the building generator combines those to make your cities.

1. The texture generator

You can control your buildings' look with this generator:

  • walls size and colors
  • windows size and colors
  • probability of having large walls
  • time of the day, to have lit windows
  • and more...

2. The street generator

Control terrain elevation

If you provide an elevation map, (which is a grayscale image where white represents high altitude areas, and black low areas) your streets, and hence your city will be built on a non-flat ground.

Control your network of streets

  • density
  • length
  • curves
  • starting angles
  • max slopes
  • and more...

3. The building generator

This one creates and places your buildings. You can provide it with a population map, a grayscale image where white represents high population density, and black low density. This will have an impact on your buildings size.
